Something more...

I'm thinking that I could use a day off... Just one day away from work, from every daily routine. A day for my self! I would just get up in the morning, drink a cup of coffee and then make a sewing storm :) After dinner I would get back to sewing, then maybe do some stitching and reading before bed. I think I would even turn my phone off.
Right now I am sewing, but not as much as I would like to. And I have so much ideas in my head and not enough time to get them all done. But maybe some day ;)

I have ordered some very nice fabrics from etsy and really looking forward to getting them. Though it should take some time, since it's shipped from Korea. I'm not sure what I'll make, but I have some idea for quilts. We will see how that will go :) I'm so excited! This is my first order at etsy

At my last post I said that my goal for 2012 is to finish a cross stitch. And then I thought that I have some more ideas so here they are:
     - read at least 5 books (I know..not much, bet hey;)
     - try out 10 new recipes: 5 for main courses and 5 for desert

And here is another cosmetic bag that I made. It's the first one this year. The cross stitch design is from Rico magazine. I used Lithuanian linen (I really like stitching on it) and some cotton fabric (67%). I really like the gold zipper here.

TUSAL 2012 and more

So this year I joined the Totally  Useless Stitch-a-long and this is going to be my ORT glass :) You can read about it here

This year I made two handmade gifts, one for my parents and one for my boyfriends parents. Sorry for the not so good photos, I was in a rush to pack them.

I usually think about making plans for the new year, but I never seem to stick to them. This year I'll try to keep to just one thing - finishing my second cross stitch by A. Mucha. They both should look like this
